David Jones is a Country guitarist out of Northwest Indiana. He found his passion for guitar when he started playing at the age of 13. Mostly self-taught from watching YouTube videos and learning music by ear. David had one year of classical guitar training from classical guitarist, Mario Moreno. During his time with Mario, he learned proper technique, and it helped him to grow as a guitarist.
David started out as a Metal guitarist, performing in local bands; Noise Complaint, and Dead & Buried (A Day to Remember Tribute Band). David crossed over to country music when he became lead guitarist for a region country band, Steel Country. For the next year, or so, he performed with Steel Country at local venues, and festivals around Northwest Indiana. David got deeper in to classic country guitar through his mentor, Tom Zank, while working with him in Steel Country (former guitarist of Hoosier Highway). He later joined the band Whiskey Thomas, as their lead guitarist, once again working alongside Tom.
In 2024 he became lead guitarist for country artist, Nate Venturelli. and acoustic guitarist for Ashlyn, an up and coming country vocalist.
